Massage in Naples
A Client's recent Question:
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch massage approach that can support dramatic improvements in the quality of your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction. The intent of this form of massage is to listen to the Cranial Rhythm and help the nervous system to relax and self-correct. Because Craniosacral is so gentle, it may be used with infants, seniors, people of all ages.
Craniosacral Therapy as used at Lighten Therapies is based on the foundation of Dr. John Upledger's DO's work. Dr. John was a pioneer who brought this type of massage and manual therapy to a greater range of people who have studied and fine tuned their skills with various levels of training and experience. Check www.Upledger.com for a practitioner in your area.

Visceral Manipulation
Many people have not heard of Visceral Manipulation (VM)... yet it is well known in bodywork community for its potential to improve overall health and wellbeing. The work of Jean-Pierre Barral is based on finding the significant relationship between the viscera and somatic dysfunction. By listening to the organs and supporting mobility and motility, a practitioner can promote the body's ability to heal.
I am getting ready to study the 2nd class of VM work starting tomorrow. Looking for clients or friends who would like a free session over the next month as I deepen my skills.
If you are interested, call Sharon at (239) 692-8486
